David Echeverry finished his PhD in 2017 in finance and real estate from the Haas School of Business at University of California Berkeley. David holds a BA in Mathematics (2005) from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota (Colombia) and a MSc in Applicable Mathematics from the London School of Economics (2008). David’s research focuses on mortgage-backed securities, and particularly on the information content of the bond prices and their stability. At Notre Dame, David will be teaching real estate capital markets and fixed income. Prior to David’s PhD studies, he worked as a quantitative analyst for Credit Suisse and Royal Bank of Scotland in London.
